First City Bank offers three personal checking accounts to meet your needs. All accounts require a minimum deposit to open and have no service charges if account terms, conditions, and minimums are met.
PREMIER CHECKING is designed for people who keep higher balances in their checking accounts. Unlimited transactions without additional fees. This account requires $1,000 minimum balance and has a $10 monthly service fee if balances fall below this level. Interest is accrued daily on the collected balance for this account. Monthly service fee is also waived if combined balances in First City Bank Savings, CDs, and Checking are $5,000 or greater.
CLASSIC CHECKING is our Free Checking Account. Designed for individuals who need no minimum balance requirements and unlimited check writing ability.
VALUE CHECKING is targeted at Students and Senior Citizens who write few checks. No minimum balance requirement. No regular monthly service fee. You may write no more than 7 checks per statement cycle. A $2 per check fee will be assessed to this account after 7 checks each statement cycle.
